Listing Description:
Built 1906.  Queen Anne.  The Fred J. Williams House.  Built for Andreas Kopp, a sales agent dealing in flour, etc., this house became home to the Fred J. Williams family in August of 1919.  Mr. Williams was the associate general agent for the Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Co.  He also had his insurance office at the house.  By the mid 1940s, Elizabeth Williams was listed as living here.  The house remained in the Williams family through the early 1970s.

The 2-1/2 story house features a notable 2-story corner turret with a conical rooftop projection with its original pressed metal finial.  A partial front porch, supported by fluted wooden columns with egg-and-dart design capitals, anchors the southeast corner of the house at the turret and features a rounded projection.  Further ornamentation on the house’s façade includes decorative shingles in the front gable with a Palladian style window and a first floor double window with a broken pediment window surround detail.

The property’s judgment number is 22D01-0902-MF-207.  With this number you can visit the Clerk's Office in the City-County building and enter it into their computers to find the judgment owed on the property. This is public record.
