Listing Description:
Built c. 1924.  American Foursquare. Conner-Renn House. Alton Conner purchased this lot in July 1922 and the house was completed by the time the 1925 New Albany City Directory was published. In that Directory, Mr. Conner’s occupation is listed as a supervising agent. The Conners only lived in the home about two years before selling it to Frank X. and Serena M. Renn in March 1926.  

Mr. Renn was a millwright for Col. E. V. Knight’s New Albany Veneering Company, located at East 13th Street and the Ohio River. He died in December 1952 at the age of 73 and Mrs. Renn remained house until her death in November 1955.
